FadingState is the project of bassist, guitarist, and sonic architect François R. Caron. Based near Ottawa, he creates lo-fi instrumentals blending ambient textures, hypnotic grooves, and experimental tones.
Entirely self-recorded and mixed, his work prioritizes raw, emotional sound.
Lo-fi Lo-fi echoes drift through ambient haze. Basslines pulse like fading memories, while melodies dissolve into reverb-soaked spaces. Sound becomes mood, thought, and solitude.
